recording a solid win over Ayrshire at Cochrane Castle by 5.5 to 2.5.
Both teams were not at full strength, nevertheless 4
wins, 3 halves and only one defeat is a positive start for the title holders.The majority of the ties were close with 4 games decided on the last hole.
