UNDER 18 LEAGUE - Lanarkshire lose to Dumbartonshire whilst Renfrewshire top the table

The latest round of matches in the West Of Scotland inter county Under 18 league were completed on Sunday 25th August.

Lanarkshire lost their unbeaten record, going down by 5 - 3 to Dumbartonshire at Clober and were overtaken at the top of the table by Renfrewshire, who were conceded their match against Stirlingshire who could not raise a team due to a fixture clash. Under the present rules of the competition, the tie is recorded as an 8 - 0 win to Renfrewshire.

UNDER 18 LEAGUE - Ayrshire defeat Glasgow at Loudoun

The Ayrshire Under 18 team kept their slim championship hopes in the West Of Scotland Inter County Under 18 League alive on Sunday 18th August, with a 5.5 - 2.5 victory over Glasgow at Loudoun Gowf Club.

The Under 16 ties were shared 2 - 2 but Ayrshire dominated in the Under 18 ties, taking 3.5 points from a possible 4.
