In week 4, Lanarkshire
made it four wins in a row in the West Of Scotland Inter County A-league this
year, with a 6-2 win over Dumbartonshire on Sunday 6th October at
Bothwell Castle Golf Club.
Star performer for the home side was 20 years old
Craig Ross of Kirkhill , who was six under par in his 4 & 3 victory over
Steven Stewart of Dalmuir. Craig has had an outstanding season finishing tied
fourth in the SGU Men’s Order of Merit and reaching the semi-final of the
Scottish Amateur at Blairgowrie.
